With a Bang!

Ethan Craik has put an exclamation point on the 2023 UCI Downhill World Cup season for GT-Continental Factory Racing, earning himself a career-best 2nd place podium in Elite Men’s at the series finale in Mont Sainte-Anne, Canada!
With a Bang!

After stacking up top 10 results all season long, Ethan Craik put down a feverish run to take 2nd place at the series finale in Mont Sainte Anne, Canada! Ethan has put an exclamation mark on his steady build up by snagging his first Elite men’s podium! In only his second-year racing elites, Ethan has carved a spot for himself amongst the worlds fastest.

We’re so stoked about how the GT-Continental Factory Racing team continued to build on each race. With Jess Blewitt's early season performances, Ryan Pinkerton securing the series overall title for Juniors in Snowshoe, and Ethan’s season culminating with a 2nd place result in MSA, emotions were high seeing him up on the box at the final race of the year.  We applaud our riders and the hard-working team behind them for the good times they enjoyed and the fast times they put down!

"Little did we know how special that the GT Factory Racing Team team would be when assembling it 8 years ago. The eclectic collection of individuals became more than a team, it evolved into a family. As in any family, you take pride in the accomplishments of the family members. Over the years there were numerous proud moments and 2023 was indeed special in how is closed out this chapter, but it is not the end of the story. The next exciting chapter is just waiting to be written.

Thank you to all who have supported and cheered for the team over the years. It has been one hell of a ride. See you at the races!" - Steve 'Coach' Spencer, GT Sports Marketing Manager
