Touting a 600g weight reduction via an all-new carbon front triangle, the addition of a carbon seat stay, and some seriously smart design, Sensor sheds weight but makes sure it’ll handle any trail. How does the bike arrive?

Our simple assembly process makes it possible to use your skills to assemble your GT at home. GT bikes will arrive 80% assembled. To get out riding, you will need to first install handlebars, seatpost, front wheel, brake rotor (if applicable) and a set of pedals. Click here to learn more about how your bike will arrive. Are the wheels tubeless compatible?

Yes, the wheels are compatible with tubeless, but you will need sealant, valve stems, and tubeless tires to set it up tubeless.

What headset is used on the Sensor Carbon?

The Sensor Carbon has a Semi-Integrated, 1-1/8” - 1-1/2” headtube. It utilizes a ZS44/56 internal headset.

What is the max rotor size for the rear brake on the Sensor Carbon?

The max rotor size on the rear brake is a 203mm rotor. The native brake rotor size without an adapter is 180mm rotor.

What chain guide is compatible with the Sensor Carbon?

The Sensor Carbon will work with any ISCG-05 chain guide and bash guard mount.

What derailleur hanger is used on the Sensor Carbon?

The derailleur hanger is a Sram Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH). (Sram Part # 00.7918.093.000)

What is the max tire width on the Sensor Carbon?

The max tire width is a 2.5in wide tire.

Is the Sensor Carbon compatible with a coil shock?

Yes, it is compatible with a coil shock. The rear shock Eye-to-Eye / Stroke / Bushing Width is 185mm x 55mm Metric Trunnion/20mm x M8.

What is the maximum seatpost insertion on the Sensor Carbon?

The maximum seatpost insertion is: SM: 250mm MD-LG: 275mm XL: 286mm.

What bottom bracket is used on the Sensor Carbon?

The Sensor Carbon uses a BSA/73m bottom bracket.

Can I convert my Sensor Carbon to 27.5" or MX wheels?

No, the Sensor Carbon is only compatible with 29" wheels.
